SAP B1 IT Manager

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP B1 IT Manager based in the Bukit Tengah, Penang area working on our exciting new developments

  • Responsible for SAP Business One support, installation, maintenance upgrade:
    1. Administer SAP B1 user login, supporting users on change control and system updates
    2. Conducting SAP B1 software installation, configuration, maintenance, and training to the end uses
    3. Liaising with SAP B1 consultant and department key users to study and documenting the workflow, design & implement workflow process into system setup
  • Create and update required SAP B1 document layouts, queries, transaction notification reports, documentations
    1. Customizing forms settings in SAP B1
    2. Design, develop and update Crystal Reports and Queries Reports in SAP B1
    3. Defining and documenting requirements for software customizations and custom reports
    4. Setup the User Acceptance Test environment and create the test script for user testing. Prepare the sign-off documents after UAT stage
    5. Test and validate the add-on program which developed by vendor before release to end users
  • Versed in data uploading migration using SAP B1 Data Transfer Workbench tools.
  • IT department administration
    1. Manage IT help desk and its issue and change request log
    2. Ensure and monitor all database are backed up daily
    3. Work with SAP and other application vendors to ensure that business system are performing as intended
    4. Conduct annual disaster recovery exercise – supported by IT vendor
    5. Stay up-to-date with current technologies and technical developments
    6. Spearhead productivity improvement via information technology
  • In depth analytical, technical and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of technology for the organization.
  • Maintain and enhance in house develop ASP.Net payment voucher application.

The Minerals team is responsible for international trade of steel-making minerals. We source from local and international suppliers and export to other Asian countries.



The Treasury Department is responsible for the entire Group’s liquidity, ensuring that there is sufficient cash available at all times to run the business operations smoothly and to expand into new investment projects.

Account & Corporate

The Account & Corporate Department accounts for the financial statements and the processes relating to financial reporting: from billing, bill paying to monitoring, analysing and reporting financial figures.


The IT Department maintains the Enterprise Resource Planning software and the infrastructure that supports it. The department is essential by helping decision making managers access business insights that help shape our company’s strategic planning.

HR & Admin

The HR & Admin Department recruit, train and develop, and support our employees over the course of their career here at our company. At the same time, the department is responsible for ensuring our company complies with the relevant labour laws and regulations.


Recruitment Process

  1. Application

    • The HR Department representative will screen through the resume as per requirements and screened resume will send to the respective Head of Department for further short listing.
  3. Interview
    • Shortlisted candidates will be notified for interview session with the HR Department representatives and the respective Head of Department.
