Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Junior Technician based in the Bukit Tengah, Penang area working on our exciting new developments

  • Operate / monitor multiple types of equipment.
  • Ensure quality, production and minimal unplanned stops.
  • Communicate with team members and support terms to ensure continuous production of the correct
    product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
  • Housekeeping and sanitation.
  • Performing various tasks to set-up, operate monitor, trouble shoot and perform preventive
    maintenance on assigned machines.
  • Responsible of inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments or tool changes as
    necessary to maintain quality specifications.
  • Undertake any other task as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
  • To perform duties according to SOP and Work Instructions.
  • To inform senior staffs of any potential problems.
  • To carry out process/quality check and record necessary results.
  • To sustain line housekeeping.
  • Follow and abide by all the Company’s Policy, Rules and Regulations at all time.
  • To perform any other duties as and when required by Management.

MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS

Sales

The Sales Department occupies an essential role in the success of our business. Our Outdoor Sales Representatives and Indoor Sales Coordinators work hand-in-hand to serve our customers and grow the business.

Production

The Production Department is responsible for the manufacturing of our steel products. The Production Department works to efficiently and effectively turn raw material into finished goods through a series of production processes and machineries.

Quality Control

The Quality Control Department works to ensure that our manufactured steel products adhere to a defined set of quality criteria from receiving of raw material to delivery to customers.

Supply Chain

The Supply Chain Department is responsible for the logistics behind order-to-delivery. The department consists of Procurement, Production Planning & Control, Warehouse, and Delivery; in charge from raw material sourcing to production planning to finished goods delivery.

Business Development Department

The Business Development Department materialize our company’s long-term value creation.

MINERAL OPERATIONS

The Minerals team is responsible for international trade of steel-making minerals. We source from local and international suppliers and export to other Asian countries.

The Treasury Department is responsible for the entire Group’s liquidity, ensuring that there is sufficient cash available at all times to run the business operations smoothly and to expand into new investment projects.

Account & Corporate

The Account & Corporate Department accounts for the financial statements and the processes relating to financial reporting: from billing, bill paying to monitoring, analysing and reporting financial figures.

IT

The IT Department maintains the Enterprise Resource Planning software and the infrastructure that supports it. The department is essential by helping decision making managers access business insights that help shape our company’s strategic planning.

HR & Admin

The HR & Admin Department recruit, train and develop, and support our employees over the course of their career here at our company. At the same time, the department is responsible for ensuring our company complies with the relevant labour laws and regulations.
